After countless transactions, he is still thrilled every time his client finds the perfect home or feels great about the sale of their property as a result of his assistance. It is always an honor for Dewey when his clients return for a second, fifth, eleventh or in one case, seventeenth additional real estate transaction.

A graduate of the Minnesota School of Business, he began working in sales and management with United Parcel Service before embarking on a long real estate career at Bermel Smaby in 1967. In 1978, Dewey co-founded GreatMinneapolis Real Estate Company in Southwest Minneapolis.

Dewey has a particular penchant for residential and investment real estate, and as an active condemnation commissioner for Hennepin and surrounding counties, his goal with all of his clients remains the same – to help make life better for others. How fortunate he is to be doing what he loves!
